
Pub to Pub Walk
Nedging Hall Estate is a family-owned country estate in Suffolk. The Estate comprises of pubs, country houses and a brewery. The Crown and The Red Rose form part of the Nedging Hall Estate collection. They're approximately three miles apart with beautiful Suffolk countryside between them. It makes for a wonderful walk.

Some sections of trail can be muddy & uneven – 1 mile of the walk
Directions:
Stepping out of The Lindsey Rose take a right turn
Follow the road through Lindsey Tye
At the cross-junction pass straight over – in the opposite direction to The Lindsey Rose sign
Follow the road down the hill and to the right
Upon reaching a junction, stay on the road veering to the left
Continue downhill passing through the trees & past the farm
Take a right after passing over the small, beautiful bridge opposite The Peacock Inn
You’ll walk along a small section of road with no pavement – take care
To your left there should be a small cluster of trees into a farmer’s field (with a footpath sign) which leads uphill towards Bildeston
Continue northward across the farmer’s field, and at its end pass through another cluster of trees (with another footpath sign)
A wide grass path should be visible, continue to follow this path until St Mary Magdelene Church is reached
Upon reaching the Church take a right turn onto Church Road and follow it downhill – you’re nearly there.
When the road splits into a Y-junction follow Chapel Street to the right to reach The Bildeston Clock Tower in the central Market Place
After reaching the Clock Tower take a right turn and after following the road for a few yards, The Crown will be visible to your left. You deserve a beer!
